Marry me and we will make beautiful revolutions together.

*yawn* Is that the best you can do?
Salut et fraternite, mes amis. You have discovered the blog of Citoyen Camille Desmoulins, the journalist responsible for Le Vieux Cordelier. Perhaps you have read it? But, no, it does not matter even if you are so behind the times as to have not; it does, however, mean that you must know very little about me. Thus, an introduction is, I believe, in order. I am a lawyer by training, a journalist by occupation. I live in the Cordeliers' District in Paris, with my dear, sweet beloved wife Lucile and our son, Horace. I love and care about them more than anything in the world. I am a Cordelier myself, but have some sympathy for the Jacobin faction; I must admit, though, that my commitment to the Cordeliers is wavering, thanks to Danton. I would just like to state, for the record, that whatever may have happened in the past, Danton and I are no longer affiliated in any way. I am a proud son of the French Republic; I will do my duty by her, to the death.
